Our Mission
The home gym equipment market is overwhelming. Hundreds of brands, thousands of products, and reviews that are either thinly-veiled advertisements or AI-generated filler that’s never touched a barbell. We exist to fix that.
Every recommendation on FirmMuscles is based on real product research, verified specifications, hands-on testing where possible, and rigorous comparison against competing products at the same price point. We tell you what’s worth your money — and what isn’t.
How We Review Equipment
We evaluate every product across five dimensions:
- Build Quality — Materials, welds, finish, tolerances. Does it feel solid? Will it last 10+ years?
- Performance — Does it do what it claims? How does it compare to alternatives at the same price?
- Value — Is the price justified by the quality and features? What’s the competition offering?
- Footprint & Compatibility — Will it fit in a typical home gym? Does it work with attachments from other brands?
- Customer Experience — Shipping speed, packaging quality, customer support responsiveness, warranty terms.
